Duzell wandered through the thick part of the woods, searching for an exit or a clearing or anything that might help him figure out where he was. Unfortunately all he succeeded in doing was getting himself completely and totally lost. He hoped Nysath or Saint would start to miss him soon and come to find him. If not, well, at least he had food. He had come out here to collect some more food for the Echee and the Saydars. Between the three Echee and the seven Saydar their little group went through as much food in a day as Duzell used to go through in a couple months. Fortunately Nysath took care of his own food or Duzell would have had little time for anything else. Duzell wandered about for a bit more. Then upon passing the same rock that he had passed four or five times he sat down and gave up. He knew he was not going to starve and Nysath would get annoyed at the hungry Echee eventually and come to find him. As he stared out into the dense forest he just hoped that nothing else found him first.

Two Echee, one brown the other black, sat astride a smooth, lilac Osidae as it chased a Saydar through the woods. Quick and agile the Sayar bobbed an weaved through the tree's. The Echee would not give up however! Their mount was fast and determined to catch its prize.
This whole thing could have been averted if the poor min-pied, brown Saydar had just left their nest alone. Whats more, it had brought a savage cream Osidae into their nest as well! So now they were all in a deadly game of chase. The Sadar running from the Echee and their mount and all of them running from a very nasty cream Osidae.
The tiny little E'nyan Rabbit had no idea what was coming for it. It had just wanted to collect some food and then be on its merry way. Sadly that was not to be. As quick as a flash it was hit by the Saydar sending them both sprawling into Duzell's feet. Cheeping shrilly the Saydar chick begged to be picked up. It didn't want to be eaten!
Eyes wide with fear from the approaching Osidae the E'nyan Rabbit scurried up onto Duzell and clung to his shirt. If the humanoidhadn't been distracted by those two he would have noticed that we was surrounded. The two Echee shrieked and tried to get at the Saydar while the two Osidae were now at each others throats!
Duzell better act fast! While these creatures were distracted was the best opportunity to catch them!

Duzell would have laughed at the sight of two Echee riding atop a lilac spider had he not been too distracted by the winged rabbit climbing all over him and the Saydar chick screeching at his feet. As he bent down to see what the little thing wanted he caught sight of what had caused all of the creatures’ distress. He was starting to wonder if he was destined to become some sort of serial spider adopter as these Osidae kept showing up whenever he left the Nexus. He watched the two dance around each other, the larger cream held a clear advantage over the lilac male. The male was simply faster however, and dodged this way and that to avoid the female’s sharp fangs.
Duzell decided that jumping into the middle of that was a good way to get himself bit and decided to deal with the conflicts he could solve more easily. He gently stroked the rabbit that was still clinging to him and whispered to him soft, comforting words. He felt a great amount of satisfaction as the rabbit slowly relaxed and released his shirt in favor of sitting in his arms. The poor thing was probably still traumatized; it didn’t move an inch after Duzell set it down on a nearby tree stump. One down, five more creatures to go.
Duzell turned his attention to the pair of Echee that had abandoned their mount and were now running in circles after the Saydar. Honestly, cattle were smarter that this pair so normally the Saydar would have little trouble keeping out of their reach now that their mount was unfortunately occupied. However, it seemed the Saydar was limping, having injured her leg somehow, most likely when she crashed into the rabbit. She limped as fast as she could over to Duzell and the Echee chased after her. The Echee, too focused on the Saydar, did not notice Duzell reaching down to pick them up until it was far too late. Holding them by the scruffs of their necks Duzell lifted them up to eye level. Thy hung there, confused, wondering how they had gotten so far off the ground. “Now” Duzell said staring at them. “I am going to put you down, and when I do, you aren’t going to go after that Saydar anymore. Got it?” Duzell couldn’t be sure if he had gotten through to them or not so when he set them down he pulled two large berries from his bag and handed one to each of them. Temporarily pacified, the two Echee went and sat next to the stump the rabbit was sitting on and began to munch on their snacks. Duzell then gently lifted the Saydar and examined her leg. It did not appear broken, but he would be sure to have someone more skilled in healing take a look at her when he got back to the Nexus. He set her on the stump next to his rabbit and picked up his bag to go deal with the Osidae.
The Osidae were still locked in their stalemate when he returned, although the lilac did appear slightly worse for wear. As quietly as he could possibly manage Duzell crept up behind the cream Osidae. He opened his bag and quickly upended it over the jagged Osidae. She thrashed and struggled to escape Duzell’s pack, but ultimately the bag proved an effective trap. Duzell carefully scooped up the bag and tied it closed. The Lilac spider had collapsed from exhaustion down at Duzell’s feet. At first Duzll thought it may have died but then he noticed it twitching ever so slightly. He gently picked it up and placed it on his shoulder. Duzell walked over to the stump, collected his troop and headed back to the Nexus, wondering how annoyed Nysath would be about the new members of their swiftly growing family.
