Rezi stops walking towards her, his eyes suddenly light up with realization. Turning sharply and walking back past Terris, his feet crunching on the grass as he walks, he suddenly turns and ducks into the dark green bushes. He looks around the small branches and twigs until his eyes top at a large nest of echee. The white shine of the skull indicates that he has located it... Rezi eyes the echee's as they silently watch him. Crouching down he slowly moves his hand into his bag, grabbing the container of fruits and berries, he slowly brings it back out and opens the leathery container, offering the food to the large family.
Slowly but surly, the little fuzz-balls creep closer to him and the food. Suddenly one of the large echee jumps onto his wrist, accidentally making him drop the small container onto a near by brownish branch. This somehow was a signal to the other echee, they all scampered down from the nest to try and get to the food first, using his head and shoulders as short cuts to get there. Among the chaos Rezi reaches forward, grabbing the skull tightly he slowly lifts the skull out of the nest, being careful of the object he brings it closer to him.
Stepping lightly, he slowly backs out of the bush, setting the skull on the ground. The same large echee from before squeaks at him, eying the skull then the empty next. It squeaks again. He looks at the small ish fluff ball, keeping his blue eye on the small creature his hands move around him to gather some lose twigs and a small lose branch. The echee's ears flicker at his movements. Bringing the wood together, he draws a small transmutation circle on the dirt then carefuly places the twigs and the branch on top. By now he has a small audience of the echee from the nest, wondering what he is doing.
Tapping his finger on the edge of the circle to test for any spark that might appear to say that it was unstable. When nothing happens, he places his hand on ground, his fingers touching the edge or the circle making the lines suddenly light up with a blue light. The glow encased the wood, making the wood change shape slowly. the sudden light made a few of the echee scamper away in fright.
Letting out a small huff from the release of energy, he takes his hand away. In the circle, instead of a few small pieces of wood there lays a small wooden nest. The twigs woven to make a lovely pattern among themselves, even the branch that had been split. All in all it became a sturdy nest.
Taking the nest, he carefuly lays it back in the spot were the skull was. The larger echee jumps into it with a happy squealing noise... Then a few more add his leather container as a lining for the nest all with a happy squeal. Ah, well his not gonna get that back. Sighing he takes the skull and slowly moves away, not trying to disturb the large family of echee. Rezi slowly stands up and moves away from the bushes and towards the others, with the skull under his arm.

Noting that Cain, or his skull at least, had been rescued from the rodents, the knight turned his attention to the woman who had called him. He had seen her around, but didn't really know her very well and had forgotten her name at present. He was not sure he had even been officially introduced to her...well, that, at least, was something he could rectify.
"Certainly M'lady. They called me Sir Terris where I was from but afer coming here I have become estranged from my formal title, have no use for it here. You can call me Terris, and you are....?" he may have forsaken his title, but decades of training in ettiquete meant that he was of the firm belief that no matter what the situation, manners should never go astray. He was, of course, also acuetly aware of the situation at hand, so, as soon as names were exchanged the knight went about the task of scaling the tree to retrieve Cain's pilfered fingers.
This task was more difficult than it looked. The knight was naked from the waist up, and the bark of the tree was quite rough, not dissimilar to oak, and there were no real footholds. Oh, he would climb to a certain height with no trouble, but the finger bones were always just out of reach, and the whole endeavour was uncomfotable at best.
After several failed attempts, he sat below the tree a moment, his chest somewhat grazed and looking quite painful. He thought for several long minutes. Clearly his first tactic had failed, he needed a new battle strategy, possibly a ladder? Spiked shoes...aha!
"Oh Whisper...." he called sweetly, a slightly feral gleam in his eye. "Stop chasing those rodents for a moment and come over here...I have a task for you!" The eld'rani cub, who had been half-heartedly batting at the echee as they ran past abandoned his task and padded sullenly over.
Couldn't catch the obnoxious little beasts anyway. Terris, I'm hungry! They've eaten all the food! he whined, throwing himself on the ground like a petulant child about to throw a tantrum. He huffed, a miserable little sound, and regarded his bonded with some interest.
What did you want me to do anyhow? he asked finally, when it was clear Terris would take no pity on him. And why do you look like you've been dragged face down for miles by a startled bicorn? there was a hint of concern in the feline's voice, and Terris was almost touched by that wave of emotion...and then.... You don't want me to lick your wounds do you? the cat stuck his tongue out in what could only be called the "bleck" gesture, and the knight laughed.
"Ew! Of course I don't! I know exactly what you lick with that tongue! What I want is for you to climb that tree and grab Cain's bones out of the hole they are in. We need to put him back together, those little pests pulled him apart" Terris explained.
The cat sighed, a long-suffering sigh, and wordlessly padded over to the tree.
The agility and grace with which the eld'rani ascended the tree, and the speed with which he collected the bones made Terris feel foolish for not thinking of it before, but he said nothing of that, instead thanking his bonded for a job well done, before returning the bones to Leyora.

Frustration was the least of his worries as the echee that kept ahold of his skull even as the others rushed about, some with his bones, made a nice little nest in the empty space where his brain normally would have been. Luckily he didn't have a nose or he would be sneezing enough that he was sure his eyes would have popped out of his skull by now. If he had eyes too that is. As it stood, it was dark and the fur of that little rodent tickled enough that he kept chuckling. Which the echee ignored as she went about her business.
Though, the universe had other things planned from him as he suddenly was brought back into the glaring light, the little echee pressed close to the back of his skull as Cain looked about. If he had blood and skin, it would be flushed with embarrassment as he noticed just what his maybe crush (it had been a while since anyone had saw him as a skeleton and not run away so maybe it was just a feeling of gratefulness) and good friend had on her head. It was his pelvic bone. Least he knew where that went.
Now if only he knew what happened to the rest of his 204 bones. Since one was in this stranger's hand and the other was on Leyora's head. He didn't know that Terris had a few finger bones and Leyora had actually collected most if not all of the rest. Sighing, he tried to move his jaw and wiggle out of the boy's hand and arm. "Excuse. If you could just hand me to the Leyora, the one with the bone on her head, I'd be most grateful since I'm pretty sure she knows where the rest of me is. If not...Maybe you can hustle after any more echee and check for me? Until with find a leg bone and a foot that is."
He would be willing to hop around on one foot for awhile if it meant getting the rest of him from the evil fluffy demon spawn. Though he doubted the one chittering about in his head would ever leave now. If she did not bail out as Cain continued to try and wiggle out with little success. There was only so much wiggling an animated skull can do after all. Which wasn't much to being with.

Rezi looks down at the talking ivory skull in surprise. Talking? Since when did skulls talk? Did it suddenly decide that it wanted to be sentient being after all these years? Then again he has seen a walking pile of bones around lately... With a shoulder shrug, his eyes land on the girl holding as many bones as she could, even placing the pelvic bone on her head. Well it could easily be placed on the ground as putting it on her head is an odd spot to put such a bone. letting out a little sigh he stops walking and brings the skull up to him so that his looking a the hollow black eyes. With something brown behind it. Blinking at the odd flash of brown, he ignores it. ".. Well, do you really want to go to her and be partly assembled or do you want to come with me as i look for your other bones as the echee are being quite deceitful." He states in a quiet voice that seamed rough for not being used for quite sometime.
He brings the skull down again, but this time balancing in his grip, so that he can look down at the skull. Leaving the skull were his placed it in his grip, his blue eyes dart around the chaotic area again, watching the knight find a few more fingers, watching shades of red, grey and brown dart around and into the shrubbery of the green forest understory. Curious blue eyes look back at the skull, a question showen though his eyes that will never be asked, as well he thinks its quiet rude to as someone why they are a walking pile of bones. Maybe he will figure it out one day but for the mean time he will keep it to himself.

Amerlan's eyes widened as the little rodent slobbered all over her feather. How dare it! Insolent little Echee should know better than to mess with her. Growling even more than before she raised her hand and was about to squish the stupid little thing when Seroth stopped her.
"That's enough. It's just a feather, it'll grow back. For the Gods sake just leave it be. Not like you can reattach it to your tail anyhow." He sighed exasperated. It seemed as though he hadn't gone far enough and an Echee or two had scrambled over his paws. Shaking himself off he almost took to the air with a few still on him, but thankfully the setting sun had scared them off and he was now Echee free, or so he hoped. "I'll be back soon. Please don't kill any of them. Keeva is going to need something to eat and I'm not sharing any Saydar we raise. It's bad enough I already have to share with Cinth."
Amerlan groaned and glared at the Echee clinging to her feather. Her flawless plan to retrieve her feather had been thwarted by a Dragon not even there! "You are so, so very lucky Seroth is paying attention. You do know I can't just let you go right? Since you are unwilling to give me back what's mine I'll just have to take you with me until you decided what you want to do." Grabbing her bag with her free had she opened it and deposited the Echee with in. Chuckling she continued, "Just scream, chatter, or whatever, when you decide what you want to do. You know, stealing from a person, even worse a piece of their body, is a federal crime in my world. Shame I never got into politics. Actually it's not, far too messy. I prefer to smush now and ask questions later."
Turning around she saw the clearing was a very different place than the chaos of earlier. Echee now weren't just running rampant with their food, but with Cain as well! Bones were floating here and there and just about everywhere! She managed to snatch a foot with an Echee or two still attached and waved it in the air. "I've got a foot!" She called out. She might have tried to collect other piece of Cain as well if it wasn't for the fit of laughter that ensued from seeing Cain's pelvis atop Leyora's head. Leyora, a honey-sweet girl from what she had seen of her so far. She'd have to get to know her better. Too many males around here, some female companionship would be nice.
Recovering from the fit she noticed the foot was no longer in her possession! The Echee who had been attached to it still had taken off with it! Running after them she quickly picked it up again. She was lucky these little things weren't that fast. "What is with you guys and stealing other's body parts?! Some sick fascination?" Examining the Echee still attached to the foot she was caught off guard when the swarms fled back to the trees. "Oh the big bad body snatchers are afraid of the dark? Figures." She scoffed.

The sun slowly passed below to horizon, filling the grove with the last burnt orange light of day. The Echee, full of their pilfered snacks and satisfied with their stolen treasures made their way back to their nests dragging their prizes behind them. The few that remained stayed close to the humans, either hoping to steal a few last trinkets or else hoping the humans could protect them from the nocturnal predators better than their own nests.
Chubs slowly poked his head out of his edible nest. His battled had been hard fought, but he had finally won. The other Echee had given up on getting past him and his guard-saydar and were retreating. Tossing one more piece of fruit down to Ayman, he curled up and took a well-deserved victory nap in his melon. He did hope the good smelling human came back at some point. She was someone who had food around, he was sure. He would keep her.
The Echee standing inside the coleslaw kept poking her head up to make sure that the not-dead person was still not dead. She had learned that dead things tended to attract bigger predators and she did not want to be there if something scary showed up. Wait, the not dead human stirred a little. Maybe the human was just hungry? The Echee knew she did not feel like doing anything when she was hungry. Carefully, with a paw full of coleslaw, the Echee crept up to the human and put her food close to the human’s mouth. She then squeaked disapprovingly at the male who had come back for more hairs to line his nest. He walked over to where the female was sitting and joined her in her vigil. If the human died though he was taking more hair, no matter what the female did.
The Echee clutched his feather as he was swung into a dark and small space. Success! Not only had he been able to keep his treasure but he had found a new nest as well. He deposited the feather and sniffed around the enclosed space. There were so many interesting things to play with in his new nest. He gave an experimental lick to something cold and hard. Bleh, metal was not a good taste. He wandered around the bag, licking each item he encountered to try and figure out what it was. Hopefully his nest would open again soon so he could see. Until then he was powerless to get out so he might as well enjoy the ride.
The Echee that had made her nest in Cain’s skull was highly displeased about her home being picked up and swung about. Quick motion was not something she normal associated with good nests and wanted it to stop immediately. She pressed herself against the back of her home and let out a short squeak of alarm. Seeing that her protests were having no effect however the Echee took matters into her own hands. Bravely creeping up to one of the eye sockets she poked her head out to see what was happening. Seeing a big human hand holding her nest she took action. With a fierce yelp he bit the hand that was grasping her nest and dove back inside. If she wasn’t set down soon you could bet she would do it again. She wanted to make it explicitly clear that she was not leaving her treasure.
Echee dived out of the way as the Eld’rani raced up the tree after the finger bones. Although unwilling to give up their treasures none of them wanted to be food and were forced to abandon them. A few unfortunate ones feel out of the tree although almost all were able to catch onto lower branches. One male was not as fortunate. He fell for quite a long way and landed in a field of long blonde grass. No not grass, hair. The Echee lay there dazed atop the knight’s head. He thought about running but he had not yet recovered from his fall. Oh well, this was as good a spot as any.
Most of the Echee had given up searching Rezi for food and had moved back to their nests. One Echee had been investigating a small bag he had found and had unfortunately fallen right in. Try as he might he could not get himself free. He kicked and chewed on the bag but he was unable to get out. It did not stop him from trying however. He kicked and scrambled about until he was too tired to do anything but squeak for help. Another Echee found himself in not a much better predicament. He had located the glorious food smell coming from Rezi. Smelling the food in Rezi’s pocket the Echee had managed to to wedge himself inside Rezi’s pocket and had become quite stuck. At least he had food though!
Duzell sighed as he looked around the chaos his picnic had devolved into. He shook his head and glanced over at Leyora. “Well, at least it will be memorable. That’s what counts in the end, right?” He chuckled as he petted the Echee that was still clinging to his shirt. “You know, for menaces they are pretty adorable. I think I’m going to have to keep this one.” Duzell noticed the Echee that had made off with his glasses disappearing into a nest not too far off the ground. “If you’ll excuse me however, I’d like to make sure I leave here with at least one thing I came with. I’ll see if there’s any more bones over there while I’m up.”
The few remaining Echee that had not chosen humans to nest on or had gone home were still dashing about, albeit a bit more sluggishly than before. They were getting tired and soon would be falling asleep wherever they stopped. It would certainly be easy to lure a couple into a bag or even just pick one or two up and carry them home.

Amerlan chuckled as the Echee gave a cry of joy from getting a new nest. She would have to correct it later and give it a proper one, but for now he was fine where he was. She could make out the clinking of her arm band and was worried for a moment, but was quickly relived by a most obvious bleh sound.
Looking at the Echee on the foot she still had she noticed they were the two from earlier! "Well hey there. I see you've found someone else to terrorize." Reaching into her back pocket she grabbed out two more of the delicious berries from earlier. "How about we make a trade? I keep the foot and you can have these."
They had no idea what she was saying, but they could see the wonderful fruit from earlier. Skittering over the foot and jumping onto her her hand they each collected a berry and ran up onto her shoulders to enjoy their snack. They would be sticking with this one. This one could offer up the food they had been wishing for like magic! Yes, this one would be good. Free food and a nice new nest and more shiny things, it was an Echee's dream. Almost like the humanoid had manufactured it just for them so they would stay.
Little did they know that is exactly what Amerlan had done, and they had played right into her plans. Now she would be taking 3 of the cute little fuzzies home. These ones would be kept as pets, but future Echee would have to be food for the growing babies. How else would she raise Eld'rani in the future, or even a Dragonling. Feeding them a baby Saydar would be a waste of future meat, and having so little on this world she could spare no expense for now. Perhaps when they were more well of she could afford to breed some as pets for the others. Her thoughts on the matter were stowed away as she heard the wing beats of Seroth above. "I'll be ready in a minute. Let me return Cain's foot and I'll be ready to go." She informed him through the bond.
Walking over to Leyora she held out the foot. "Sorry to leave this with you and go, but the over grown reptile is getting a little cranky being away from his babies." She emphasized babies with air quotes. "I'm Amerlan by the way, not sure we've ever been properly introduced. We should hang out some time. You know, a little girl time to get away from all these boys." She chuckled. Placing the foot gently on the ground she ran to Seroth who had landed and was waiting impatiently. Before mounting she turned back around and waved at Leyora. "I'll be seeing you around!"
Climbing up onto Seroth the little black Echee scurried down and licked his hide. Swinging his head back around to look at Amerlan he was met with a sheepish grin. Snorting he shook his head and took to the sky. He would deal with her and the rodents later.

Cain let out a chuckle as Brains (ech 018) took a chunk out of the strange man. Hee. Maybe it would not be so bad to have an echee living inside his skull. Definitely good for protection against would be grave robbers. Though given the small size of the creatures, maybe not be a very effective one. Doesn't exactly offer a form of punishment when the creature can't cause dismemberment. Then again, most grave robbers here would probably go after anything that moves and had meat on their bones so...Maybe it was a good thing Cain bonded to Dorth first and not to Brains.
Meanwhile, Leyora's bone pile would have a few more visitors as Hemo (ech 016) decided to make a go with a couple of finger bones and then getting lost in the pile. Curses! Oh well. He had a finger bone and was gonna just sleep now. Maybe when Leyora started to help put Cain back together (or just leave it to Cain to do so), he would be discovered. For now though, he would just take a little nap. Yeah. Just what the echee order as he curled around the finger bone and knocked out.
Ligament (ech 019) leaned against the ribcage, having done a hard climb to get to it. It would make a nice nest. Just got to get the watermelon out from it. Besides, her thinking was you either tried or go out in a blaze of glory. Needless to say, she made it though and that was enough. The finally echee, Gambit, was sneaking in and out of everything. He wanted that pretty shiny bone pile all for himself and started to chase off any echee that had any bright ideas to take away from his treasure pile. He left Hemo alone for now. The red echee wasn't going anywhere and if he tried...Well, Gambit had ways of getting his stuff back.
Just...Hemo nor Cain would probably like those ways.

Brains was feeling anxious inside her nest. She had bitten the man that was holding it, and while it did seem to set him off balance, she was still being carried. That wouldn't do. She let out a cheerful squeak, calling to the other Echee. 'Food over here.' Of course there wasn't, but the Echee came anyway. More than she would have thought to be awake. They swarmed the man that was making off with her nest, causing him to loose balance and finally free her nest from captivity. Freedom... oh wait, that was not good. Shortly after landing her nest began to tilt and then roll. It rolled down a small hill and came to rest against something hard. Dizzy and more than a little nauseous, Brains poked her head out to see where she had ended up.

Leyora was having quite the time trying to tame the several echee that were still crawling on her, trying to snatch the pelvis bone from her head and the other bones from her dress. It had become quite the game to them and one particularly sassy female made an excellent captain as she seemed to be directing the other rodents in how best to torment Leyora. While the bone on her head couldn't be dislodged, it made a great distraction, so that she would let go of the edges of her dress, leaving other bones free for the taking. She scrambled a lot and finally did manage to retrieve all the bones that had been stolen from her dress.
Looking up to the knight, Terris, just in time to see him send an eld'rani up a tree, she smiled. "Clever! Makes me wish I had thought to bring Rasmus along. Could have saved you and your friend a little bit of trouble." She accepted the bones from him and chuckled tiredly, "I would offer a curtsy, were I not so weighed down. Stations and ranks or not, a former scullery maid should retain some manners as well. Once we have our friend back together, I should make a salve for your scratches, at least."
She turned to look about as she heard someone call out about a foot. She waved a skeletal hand at Amerlan in greeting then set it back in her bone to swat away another ornery echee. Once Amerlan reached her, she shook her head smiled. "No worries, I should be getting back soon too. Heaven only knows what that pload has gotten himself into, this time. Name's Leyora and it is a pleasure to have met you. Some girl time would be great! Take care!" Leyora waved the newly acquired foot in a farewell motion and then returned to sitting under the tree.
It seemed the biggest portion of her swarm had scattered, but there was a black male echee snoozing on her head, inside the pelvis bone that when she leaned against the, somehow managed to fall out of the pelvis, but got his claws stuck in her hair. The unlucky critter made a terrible racket as he twisted around trying to get free. Shushing the echee, Leyora cupped her hands around him and carefully untangled him from her hair, ignoring the thin scratches he left on the side of her face. She sat him on her knee and was thankful to see he was too tired to steal anymore. He curled up and went right back to sleep. "You'd think it was Friday the 13th with that run of bad luck; especially with that sassy thing over there bossing you." She eyed the fiery little brown female. "If you don't settle down, I'm going to name you sassy! As for your sleepy friend, I think Friday suits him." Sassy gave an indifferent squeak, then yawned and curled up on the ground, leaning against Leyora's leg.
Leyora took this brief quiet time to shoo the other echees away just enough that she could start assembling the skeleton to the best of her limited knowledge. Pelvis, legs and feet came together easily for the most part. same with the shoulders arms and hands, though she was having troubles figuring out the wrists. There were just so many tiny parts! She also had no desire to disturb the echee she had found curled up around a finger bone, in the bottom of the pile. Only one echee remained and he was quite pesky about wanting the bones. Without the help of the other's though, she hoped he wouldn't make off with much. It seemed, at least for now, that the flood of rodents had come to an end. Leyora set down all the assembled parts and carried the smaller pieces with her on her way back to the ribcage and her saydar.
She was impressed to see that the saydar seemed to be sated on fruit alone. Giving the chick a pat on the head, she moved to fetch the ribcage and the watermelon. There wasn't much fruit left, but Chubs seemed content and very much asleep. There was also another echee there now. She wondered if it had arrived after Chubs had already dozed off. Leyora offered the worn out female a ride inside the watermelon basket before she carefully separated ribcage from fruit and carried them over to the rest of the skeleton.
On her way back, though, something white rolled past her. Setting the ribcage and fruit basket down by the assembled parts, she turned to follow the what she hoped was the skull. "Cain? Is that you? Uhhh The talking, thinking part of you?" After being covered in body parts for so long, she felt the need to clarify.

Watching the knight try and get some finger bones from a tree, he was unaware of the little echee that scampered out of Chains skull. Yelping in pain as a echee bit him, he gazes to were the echee ran off to... In the skull? Oh. He sighs, moving his gaze to his bruised hand then to look around the dark forest clearing. He watches in the distance as a dragon rose, flying off with a rider. He tilted his head then the echee from Chains skull made a squealing noise, not taking the sound to mined he continues to walk forward towards Leyora.

Cain wasn't very happy about the rolling either. Getting a dirt stain out of his bones was hard enough (according to Dorth). He could only imagine how hard it would be to get any grass stains from his skull. Poor Brains though. While Cain didn't have a stomach to upset with the dizziness, she did and Cain assumed she was going to throw up when she leaned out of his eye socket. "There there little gal. Least there are no roaches about to come and make off with my head now. Though I doubt this world has normal size roaches to begin with."
Hemo was glad to have his little bone pillow. Gambit? Not so much. Those were his bones godsdamnit and he wasn't going to share! Not with him. Not with that strange woman who was busy doing something to his bones. Though he had to admit, it certainly made them easy to keep track of spread out like that. Maybe not defend though. As soon as Leyora moved off after the rolling skull, he was sitting to work. Bending a leg here, an arm there, he soon had Cain's body all folded up and in on itself. If Cain had been alive alive, he would have been in a lot of pain. As it stood, the Echee just snuggled into the tent he had made with the knees and bared his teeth at anyone that was stupid (or unknowing) enough to get close to his bones.
Ligament meanwhile wasn't going to turn down a free ride. Not when this stranger had what she wanted to make her nest out of. Maybe if she was nice to this strange woman, she would let her live in the ribcage. Chattering happily, but tiredly at Leyora, she climbed into the watermelon basket and fell asleep, barely noticing that she was sharing a nest with Chubs.
Hearing Leyora, Cain wiggled his jaw so he could see her better. "Theoretically, I can talk without my skull. Freaks people out though...Not that a talking skeleton is creepy enough as is. You wouldn't happen to know what happened to the rest of me would you?" He had thought he saw her around with his body parts, but now he couldn't rightly remember. Maybe being separate from his body and then rolling down a hill was bad for his memory. Either way, he was glad she was here now. "Careful of Brains. She bit the last one who picked me up."

Leyora followed Cain's voice and took care where she was stepping. She didn't want to step on the skull or its tenant, after all. "I can see where that might be a bit freaky for those that don't know you. Fortunately, yes, with everyone's help I was able to get the rest of you mostly together. Let's just hope our new furry friends haven't made off with the rest of you again!" She chuckled and knelt beside the skull. To one unknowing, she might seem to be staring deeply into the eye sockets, but in truth she was searching for the echee inside. She offered the echee some fruit with one hand as she scooped the skull up with the other. Bribery was maybe not the most elaborate plan for getting the small rodent to grant her safe passage in getting the skull where it belonged, but it was hopefully effective.
These critters sure have an addiction to shiny things, don't they?" Leyora said to no one in particular as she brought the skull back to the rest of the bones. Carefully, she set the skull onto the neck bones and waited to see what would happen. She was gentle about setting the few bones she couldn't figure out, near the skeleton. It was a fair assumption that Cain would know where the rest go and how to get them there without causing further damage. "Must be heaven, being back in one piece, more or less, after such an adventure! I can't even begin to imagine how that must have felt on a physical or emotional level!" Leyora shuddered as she tried to imagine it anyway. Once Cain was able to pull himself the rest of the way together, she hugged him and said, "I'm so glad we didn't lose you today." He was her very first friend here and that made him special to her.
"Now that you've helped your friend, it might be best to get home. I'm sure Rasmus and Tavor are getting hungry by now. Gods only know what that pload is in to now." Chuckling Leyora sent her agreement through the bond and goes to fetch what is left of her watermelon basket. Staring at the sleeping echee inside, she sighed and nodded to herself. "I guess you will have to come home with me, then. She was surprised when one echee woke up, and made its way up to Cain's ribcage again, instead. "As you wish, then." She scooped up Friday and Sassy and set them in the basket with Chubs, smiling as they stretched and all seemed to snuggle up into a tiny furry pile. "I guess they aren't really all that bad. They are just very... lively."
Leyora made her way around the area saying farewells to Duzell and the knight as well before she let Eyrdith know that she was ready to go. She took extreme care not to jostle the watermelon basket about too much, as she climbed aboard her dragon, lest she wake her sleepy new friends.
