((Yep I want 10 of 'em! 2000 points total))
Amerlan pushed through the dense brambles of the forest and looked around. It had been sometime since she last saw Cinth and Keeva. Who knew where those two had run off. Like peas in a pod those two had befriended each other almost instantaneously. She had been having trouble keeping them from making a mess of things back in the Forge so taking them on an outing to release some of that energy seemed like a fine idea. A fine idea that had been too. Up until they had run off and left her stranded.
Rubbing her face she attempted to get rid of an itch only to smear dirt on one of her cheeks. "When did I get so messy?" She should have been watching where she was going, but alas she hadn't been. Her foot slipped and the rest of her went down with it. She didn't fall very far, only a foot or two, but she had fallen into something interesting.
Coughing she attempted to stand only to fall right back onto her butt again, quite painfully on her tail too. Rubbing her sore behind she noted just what she had fallen into. It was a nest! A nest of some very strange creatures. She had never seen things act like this. The seemed to have been living in a communal home, which she had now ruined. "Oh please, please don't let them be smart enough to demand payment. It would be just my luck." Her train of thought drifted elsewhere as a light bulb came on in her head. She could catch some of them! Or maybe even a few would go willingly home with her!

An angry brown Echee was the first to emerge from the ruins of his nest. He squeaked angrily at the intruder and climbed up on her chest so that he could give her a proper chewing out. He was soon joined by three more, another brown male, a black male and a tiny red female. They squeaked in unison and demanded that she leave their nest at once. They thought they sounded very threatening and would have gone on chewing her out for some time had a sad squawk not emerged from the other side of the nest. The two browns and the red lept off of the intruder while the black Echee stayed behind, glaring at her. The two brown Echee helped a pair of pied brown Saydar chicks get to their feet and out of the more destroyed part of the nest. The Saydar did not seem to understand that Amerlan was responsible for the destruction of their nest and ran over to Amerlan, immediately curious about the newcomer. The female ran in a circle around Amerlan, delighted to have more company while her brother climbed onto Amerlan and began searching for food. The red Echee climbed up next to the male and quickly checked him for injuries. Finding none she turned and chased after the female Saydar in an attempt to do the same for her.
Growing tired of running the female Saydar decided to introduce Amerlan to the rest of her strange family. She bit down on the hem of Amerlan’s shirt and pulled as hard as her little body could. Seen she was getting nowhere she let out a commanding squawk and the two brown Echee and the other Saydar quickly joined her. The black Echee simply hopped off her chect and continued to stare at her as if contemplating the best way to get rid of her, while the red looked on like a concerned mother watching her children play.
Finally the four of them pulling convinced Amerlan to follow them to the other side of the large nest. From that vantage Amerlan had an excellent view of the tree tops, and the things that laid sleeping in them. On the branch of a nearby tree was a beautiful indigo spider made entirely of jagged crystal. It was almost close enough that Amerlan could reach out and grab it, if she dared. Closer still were two more spiders, one magenta one gold, that were awake. Seeing Amerlan they jumped from their perch and landed in the growing throng at her feet. The black Echee squeaked at them, as if informing them of the misfortune that had befallen their nest. The two spiders skittered over to Amerlan and began to inspect the newest addition to thier ragtag bunch.
To add to the confusion it was at that moment that an E'nyan rabbit decided to return to the nest. Taking in the destruction and the sight of her family gathered around a stranger she simply stared at the newcomer, uncertain what to do next.

One moment she was on her bum in a very strange nest the next she was being led to the other side of it by a Saydar chick! This chick was very tiny, it must have only hatched recently. Her own birds were once that size, but over the past few months they had grown considerably. They might even be ready to breed soon.
The E'nyan Rabbit chirruped loudly at her, drawing her from her thoughts. It flew close to her chattering away. About what she could not be sure. Though it seem to want her to come away from the tree, but why? There was a pretty indigo spider up in there. At first, with the shadows covering it, she had thought it was scarlet, but the deep blues flushed over it made the spider plainly indigo. The spires of crystal jutting off it sparkled wonderfully. The two on the ground next to her were extremely pretty as well, but something about those sharp spikes made her want to touch it.
Reaching out she came with inches of the jagged crystal when she was pushed back by the two smooth spiders jumping on her and the rabbit flying into her face. "Agh!" For the second time that day she ended up on her bum. "Why! Why would you do that!? Don't you know it's rude to tackle people!?" No sooner had the spiders climbed off of her did the Echee scrambled onto her. Shrieking this way and that and pointing at the pretty spider in the tree. "You want me to touch it?" To that they just shrieked louder! Even the two Saydars were squawking at her now! "You know, you lot are being paranoid and not very friendly. Maybe this spider has hurt feelings cause you all won't play with it. I'm going to be nice and say hi."
Standing up she brushed the Echee off and onto the ground. If the could have spoke surely they would have been pronouncing her the national leader of dumb-asses. As it was to any onlooker they would appear to be face-palming.
Slowing she crept up the the spider and just ever so lightly touched it with one finger. That feather light touch was met with the instant opening of several eyes and a loud, low hiss. Arching up the spider immediately went into attack mode. Launching itself at Amerlan it just barely missed her and landed on the ground with a thump.
Within seconds the area around them turned into a battleground. The Echee were throwing numerous things, what ever they could grab, at the indigo spider. The rabbit had latched itself onto her arm, squeezing like a boa in an effort to stay on her and out of the way. The two smooth spiders were hissing back at the jagged one and dancing about, in what looked like some sort of intimidation technique. The two Saydar were being oh so brave and hiding behind her legs. Squawking as loudly as they could.
Poor Amerlan had no idea what to do. All she had wanted was to take them all home with her, and now they were fighting! "Enough! Enough! Stop this right." She was cut off as the jagged spider charged her. Just barely dodging again she saw what looked to be drops of venom on the ground, except they were turning the plants the had landed on into gemstone! "Okay, rule one, don't let the spider bite you." Noises of agreement sounded from the creatures who now all clung to her.
She was about to turn tail and run when a loud thumping noise was quickly approaching. With a roar Keeva burst into the clearing and flattened the jagged spider beneath her paw. "Careful! Don't let it bite you!" Swiftly Amerlan ran to the Eld'rani and opened her bag. "On the count of three lift your paw. One. Two. Three!" Quick as a flash she scooped the spider up into the bag. It squirmed and hissed, fighting very hard to escape, but a quick thump against the ground settled it down, maybe even knocked it out cold.
"We leave you alone for a few minutes and you break the nest of these poor things! We saw the remains on our way here." Examining each of the creatures in turn Cinth rumbled happily. "Oh good! More food stock! You managed to find three Osidae, the spider things. Though I wouldn't try touching the jagged one again, they're nasty. Four Echee, two Saydar, and oh! Even an E'nyan rabbit!" Turning his attention to the Eld'rani he looked at her paw with worry. "How's the paw Keeva? It bite you."
Shaking her head she sent an image of well being to them and purred when Amerlan scratched behind her ear. "Thank goodness. I don't know what I'd have done if it had ended up hurting you!" The Eld'rani had grown substantially. She was now tally and all limbs, Amerlan wouldn't be surprised if she could ride her soon, if Keeva had no objections of course.
The Echee were delighted by the new comers, even the black one was crawling this way and that over Cinth. The E'nyan rabbit was snuggled happily in the nape of Keeva's neck. The Osidae, as Cinth had called them, were running this way and that around Keeva's paws. The little Saydar, however, had them selves glued to Amerlan's feet, frightened of such large predators. "Don't worry you two. I won't let them eat you." Amerlan soothed them. Looking at the mess of their nest Amerlan addressed all of the critters. "Since I seem to have ruined your home, I don't suppose you'd like to come and live with me would you?" A chorus of happy chatters and squawks met her question with glee.
"Then its settled. We can all go home now. By the way, where were you two anyways?" Amerlan wondered.
"Like we'd tell you." Cinth scoffed playfully.
Amerlan sent a fake pout towards Keeva. "Don't you love me?"
A rasping laugh escaped the Eld'ranis maw. A quick flash of a lake and the outline of a small Dragon trying to fly was all Amerlan saw before Cinth tackled Keeva to the ground. "You promised you wouldn't tell!" Cinth wailed.
Giggling Amerlan watched as the two scrapped about on the forest floor. "Welcome to the family." She smiled at the new additions.
