"Meet me behind the temple at midnight, come alone"
Terris was not sure where the note came from, but he had found it stuck to the door of his house when he had returned from his evening swim in the river, and it had certainly captured his attenion. What was all this about? Was it a secret admirer? Was he about to go on some sort of romantic tryst with one of the other people that made wildecrest his home? Hah! Highly doubtful!
He did not consider himself suave enough to capture the eye of any lady or gentleman frequenting this place, and he figured the ones he was interested in would probably never be interested in him, so it couldn't possibly be that. Something else then...but what? The suspense was killing him, and by the time midnight came around, he had worried the note he had been given to tatters.
Under cover of darkness he had slipped out his door, and snuck quietly down to the temple, which is where he now stood, shivering slightly against the night breeze. Why hadn't he worn something warmer? Oh, right, he didn't have anything warmer, he would just have to suffer. And suffer he did, waiting in the cold, gooseflesh crawling up his arms, for the mysterious writer of the note to arrive.

A figure shrouded in darkness walked calmly up to Terris. It seemed pleased to see him there. Justering him forward it took the man to the other side of the temple. As the figure passed around the corner it simply vanished. No matter where Terris would look he would not find the being. However, turing the corner Terris would spot something that would change his life.
Just around the corned sat a small baby Dragon. Still white and obviously newly hatched, the shell of it's eggs scattered around it. Quietly it keened. Calling out to Terris the Dragon stood and looked the man in the eye. Like a tidal wave the bond washed over him. Forceful as a hurricane, yet as gentle as mist.
"Terris my heart! Terris! It's me! Your Inaoth!" The young Dragon chirped happily.
((Congratulations for bonding the Brown, female Dragon Inaoth!

Terris stared, dumbfounded as the bond slipped into place. He had been aware a person could bond to more than one dragon, but never in his wildest fantasies had he imagined that it would happen to him. He reached out a hand to the small white hatchling, wiped some of the sticky egg-gunk off her face and absently stroked an eye ridge.
"Well then, this is an unexpected turn of events" he said pleasantly, as he lifted up the damp little dragon, and walked the short distance back to his home.
