((One 3xp Lucky Dip))
Another leisurely stroll through the Everleaf Grove with Cyrus and Rasmus; it was almost a daily routine now, that that trio very much enjoyed. The orphans had so much in common and yet such vastly different stories to share on these trips. Today Leyora was recalling a day when her family had met the baron of their lands. The man was much more kind and compassionate than the local regent of the area and had been the one to move her and her family into a house just outside of the baron's own town, asking Leyora to come and work in his castle. The life there was still hard, but she was treated far better there than at her previous place of employment. She carried on explaining customs and courtesies of her land and more importantly to her, telling stories of how her mother and father adjusted to the new life. It was through these stories that she was able to keep her former family alive and real in her heart. Cyrus told similar stories for much the same reason, while Rasmus lived vivaciously through his companions' stories.
When Rasmus got tired of walking, Cyrus knelt and allowed the eld'rani to ride on his back. It was quite the sight, for though the bicorn colt was growing stronger every day, the cat was also growing bigger. In her old world there was a superstition about cats being a lucky creature to have befriend a horse, and looking at the pair now, she believed it to be true. with the flow of conversation interrupted, the trio walked further in silence each considering much the same thing; how they were lucky to have met each other and be able to so easily support each other when so few orphans knew such a blessing.
It was then that they heard a noise just off the beaten path. Ever curious, Rasmus was the first to hop down and go investigate, with Leyora and Cyrus not far behind.
