W/W, W/w - White - dominant over all.
Masking gene. All horses with this gene will be white.
G/G, G/g - Grey
Masking Gene - all non-white horses with this gene will be grey.
E/E, E/e - Black
Gives a horse a black base coat (may be modified by later genes)
e/e - Red
Gives a horse a red (chestnut) base coat (may be modified by later genes)
Cr/cr - dilution
Turns black smoky black
Turns chestnut palomino
Cr/Cr - double dilution
Turns black smoky cream
Turns chestnut cremello
WHITE MARKINGS - Requires w/w to show
Rn/rn, Rn/Rn - roan
causes white flecks (roaning) to appear in the horse's coat
Sb/sb - Min White Sabino
Causes a variety of white markings on the legs, face and underside of the horse, usually with white 'freckling' around it - blue eyes
Sb/Sb - Max white Sabino
Turns the horse almost completely white with a few patches of colour - blue eyes
To/to, To/To - tobiano
Causes a variety of white markings, horses are usually mostly white with large, rounded coloured markings, heads are generally coloured, but facial markings remain normal.
O/O, O/o - Overo
Causes small irregular white spotting on the body, can cause bald face (white face - blue eyes).
O/O fr/fr - lethal white

Spl/spl - white markings
Causes white markings to be able to appear on the legs (not above the knee) and face. The amount of white shown is random and up to the owner, though red base coats tend to have more white than black base coats.
Spl/Spl - Splash
Causes white markings from the legs to halfway up the body, causes baldface (blue eyes)
Basically the horse looks like it has walked through a river of white paint up the belly.
Physical Characteristics
m/m - allows for the below traits to be present.
t/t - twin foals can be produced
Females only, males can carry this, but breeding a male with this trait to a female without it will not produce twins.
z/z - enhanced telepathy
Able to communicate with people other than their own rider.
v/v - slepinir mutation
gives extra legs.
